ggRock Notifications

ggRock Notifications is planned to help administrators notice issues that need attention without continually checking the server. In-app messages and email alerts would bring important events together, making it easier to understand what has happened and where to investigate.

The proposed alerts cover storage nearing capacity, degraded arrays or failed drives, server availability, and unusually high processor usage or storage delays. Other examples include a missing default boot image, available updates and subscription expiry. The focus is on clear, useful information about conditions that can affect day-to-day operation.
