As a gaming center administrator,
I want to purchase and install the iGames Steam PC Cafe add-on from the ggLeap Marketplace
so that my customers can access a curated library of Steam games (provided by iGames) under their own or shared Steam accounts, enhancing their in-center gaming experience.

Description

The iGames add-on will appear as a paid subscription/integration option in the ggLeap Marketplace.
Once purchased, the gaming center admin will link a “fresh” Steam account to iGames (as recommended by iGames documentation).
The ggLeap system will provide any required guidance/documentation on installing the Steam PC Cafe server files and ensuring it runs in the background on center PCs.
After successful setup, center customers logging in with their own Steam account (or a center shared account, if desired) will see and launch the iGames library titles if they are on a PC connected to the Steam PC Cafe server.

Acceptance Criteria

Visibility in ggLeap Marketplace
- The iGames add-on is listed in the ggLeap Marketplace with a clear description, pricing details, and benefits.
- The admin can click “Purchase” or “Subscribe” to initiate the setup process.
Purchase & Subscription Flow
- Upon subscribing, the admin is prompted to provide or confirm:
  - A new/fresh Steam account email (i.e., the Steam PC Cafe server account).
  - Basic license terms and conditions acceptance.
- The system confirms successful subscription and updates the admin’s Marketplace panel to show “iGames: Active.”
Configuration & Setup
- The admin receives step-by-step instructions (or automated onboarding wizard) on:
  1. Downloading/placing the Steam PC Cafe server files from iGames.
  2. Running or scheduling the server application (e.g., igameslan.exe or similar).
  3. Confirming connectivity for all client PCs in the local network.
- ggLeap provides a status indicator showing iGames Steam PC Cafe is properly running and connected.
User (Player) Experience
- A user can install and launch iGames titles without requiring the center to purchase separate Steam licenses for those games (as long as the iGames subscription is active).
Billing & Renewal
- The add-on subscription is billed monthly (or at the chosen interval), with clear renewal dates and cancellation policies displayed in ggLeap’s subscription management page as an add-on to their parent ggLeap's subscription in Stripe.
- Cancelling the add-on results in removal of iGames titles from the center’s library and displays a confirmation/warning to the admin.
Basic Usage Metrics (Optional for MVP)
- Admin can view a simple report of how many game sessions or hours have been run under the iGames subscription (helpful to demonstrate add-on value).
- If excluded from the MVP, usage metrics can be listed as a future enhancement.

Additional Notes / Constraints

Pricing & Promotions: The initial rollout may use special launch pricing or limited-time discounts for early adopters. This should be reflected in the Marketplace listing.
Marketing Collateral: iGames will provide marketing materials (images, posters, social media kits) for new game releases, which centers can download via a link or through a dedicated resource page.

Automated Tournament Creation for iGames titles.
Advanced Promotions or Achievements (e.g., in-game reward boosts).
Multi-Region Pricing variants (if the MVP only targets a single currency zone initially).

Marketplace Integration: Create or update the ggLeap Marketplace entry for iGames.
Subscription & Billing: Implement the subscription flow, payment processing, and connect it to the admin’s ggLeap account.
Steam PC Cafe Server Setup Page: Provide an in-app (or emailed) step-by-step guide or wizard for installing and configuring iGames’ Steam PC Cafe server. Preferably we are using ggRock server to place the steam pc cafe server but this could entails more difficulty. <--To Be Discussed.
Status/Health Checks: Implement a status panel in ggLeap admin to verify iGames server connectivity and licensing validity.

SETUP INSTRUCTIONS
1. Once iGames has set up your Steam PC Café Site Server account and approved your application, (after you accept the invitation) follow these steps: Download the Steam PC Café Site Server below (may see “Potential Dangerous Download”, click “Continue to Download” to proceed). After downloading, unzip the server files to your hard drive. Navigate to the folder that the server files have been extracted to and double click steamcmd.exe Enter the Steam account credentials of your Steam Server account for the location. The first time you launch the server on a new machine, you will need to enter the Steam Guard code that will be sent to the email address associated with the Steam Server account. Log into your Steam Site Server, using your Steam PC Café Site Server information. This is the account you set up with iGames. If you have multiple physical locations, you will need one Steam Site Server account, with a unique email, per location.
CONTENT CACHE
1. The content cache allows you to download game files once and then distribute them through your local network to the individual game stations. Patrons that bring their own computer or laptop can also access the game files instead of using your location's Internet bandwidth. Please note that the game files will be saved on your server machine, and you may need to increase your hard drive space depending on the number of games that you will offer.
2. Configuration To enable the content cache or make any changes, go to "Settings" and select "Content Cache" from the drop-down menu. You will need to include the Location, Max Size and Port. Ex: (Location C:\PCcafe\cache, Max Size 2000 (2 terabytes) and port 27038) When a game is launched for the first time in your network, the download request will be sent to the server machine. If the game files are not cached on the server yet, the server will download them automatically, cache them, and return them to the client machine. If the game content cache is already available on your server, the server will automatically send the files to the client machine.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. Are there any special requirements for the type of hardware I use for the Steam PC Café Server? To run a Steam PC Café Server, you just need a secure Window 7, Windows 10, or Windows 11 PC connected to the location's network. You will also be able to run it on Windows Server 2012 R2 and 2016. If you are also using the PC Café Server as a content server cache, we recommend that it has enough storage to support 1TB of content data.
2. Do the client machines have to be on the same network as the Steam PC Café Server? Yes, the feature will only be properly functioning if server and stations are on the same subnet. Packets are not forwarded to other subnets and only client machines that are in the same network will have access to the license pool and content cache feature.
3. Provider authentication FAILED: This account is not associated with any sites. This error usually indicates that the account used to run the PC Café Server has not been added to the site location on the Steamworks partner page yet. Please contact iGames.
4. What ports are being used by the Steam PC Café Server? The Steam PC Café Server uses UDP broadcast packets over port 27036 to announce itself to Steam clients on the network. The client machine must be able to receive those packets to know about the PC Café Server. Then, the Steam client will connect to the server using a TCP connection on port 27037. The server machine must allow TCP connections on that port. For a full list of other required ports and protocols for Steam see here.
5. Can I turn off the auto logout feature in my network? The Steam PC Café Server will make sure that inactive Steam accounts will be logged off automatically after a certain time has passed. We strongly recommend that you do not turn off this feature, as it is very valuable for customers that have left the PC without logging out of their Steam account. If you do choose to deactivate this feature, we recommend that you let your customers know. To deactivate the feature, you will need to navigate to the server file location and open steamconsole.cfg with a text editor. Adding the following command line will deactivate the auto log off within your network, when the server is active: @bSiteLicenseAllowCachedClientCredentials 1
